Ductal precast stair tread/ riser combo for Perkins Will

Recently installed by Szolyd Development custom precast concrete design and manufacturing is this beautiful precast stair case design by Perkins Will Architecture for their own office in Vancouver, BC. These concrete treads were designed and engineered to utilize one central stringer, showcasing the sleek profile achieved by Ductal concrete. The precast tread/ riser combos taper from 20mm to 15mm on the edges. This staircase prototype uses modular components that can be scaled for a variety of applications, including complex curves, interior/ exterior installs, and optional railing systems.
