Hudson building, Victoria BC | site furnishings

Szolyd Development completed the design, build and installation of the site furnishings for Townline Properties, at the Hudson Building. Phase one, is the southeast corner of the building in front of 2% JAZZ. The installation features a series of hemisphere concrete bowls with round bench tops, a gorgeous precast trough bench, and a variety of hand cast pots and planters. The developer asked about the rough retaining wall, and what kind of options there were for cleaning it up. Szolyd came up with a creative bolt on bench, this could be utilized in a variety of different applications. One of the benches features a ductal concrete roof panel with the 2% jazz logo and a solar panel. This bench acts as a solar charging station for cell phones and laptops.
